This coach is a simplified replica of the Penrhyn Quarry Worker's Open Coach to scale from drawings of coaches taken into preservation.

The Talyllyn Railway repurposed a number of these coaches in the 1950's for passenger services. The single central buffers were replaced, along with the axle boxes and underframes.

During this time they were immortalised as Ada, Jane and Mabel in the Railway Series Stories.

The boxed kit includes:

• 3 x high quality printed body
• 3 x Sets of slatted bench seats
• 6 x Kato metal wheelsets

The model has nem style pockets, couplings aren't supplied.

Print quality is very high, minimal preparation required. Due to their nature, resin kits are relatively fragile and are only suitable for those over the age of 14. Precautions should be taken when preparing for painting.

The kit is supplied unpainted ready to prime with a suitable surface primer.
